Alice Sergeant is an American textile designer. After two decades in the fashion industry, developing color palettes and prints for various brands, she founded her own line, Alice Sergeant Textiles.

How has your back ground in fashion influenced your aesthetic?
"While working in fashion as my first career, I was inspired by feminine details and colors as well as vintage textiles.  I often referenced style from the 1960s and 1970s in my clothing design years. Some of my favorite design details would be embroidered and scalloped hems, smocking around the sleeve cuff, yoke and neckline, intricate topstitching details and embroidery."

How would you like to branch out with your brand?
"I would love to do a fashion collaboration with someone to create a capsule collection of womens dresses, skirts, and tops while bringing unique and feminine details to create one of a kind pieces. The fabric is of the utmost importance.  Natural fibers only - Cotton, silk, wool, and linen. "
